April was one of our busiest and exciting month of events so far. Here's a recap of where we were, what we saw and where you can catch us next. While writing this, we are on the road at both DockerCon and Open Infrastructure Summit so if you are there, don't hesitate to find our pink shirts to meet us and get a demo!

    Cloud Foundry Summit

We started the month at Cloud Foundry Summit North America 2019 in Philadelphia. It was a well run event focused on learning about software and open source tools for modern businesses, with the end users in mind.

Abby Kearns, Executive Director of the Cloud Foundry Foundation, shared how the key to a successful journey is to fail fast, be responsive and innovate more as "digital transformation is a perpetual change, not a one-time thing."

Denise Yu discussed that framing a mentorship helps both parties extract the most from the relationship. Asking "Would you like for me to listen, or would you like my help with problem-solving?", sets a goal for the conversation.

Comcast and Pivotal had a large presence at the event with a similar focus in regards to logging - finding a platform that is intuitive to cut down on-boarding time. Enterprise teams want to consolidate platforms used so developers can go back to building the technology and products that lead innovation.

We had a lot of great conversations and learned so much throughout the conference. Thank you for stopping by our booth and participating in our raffle too!

As new business partners of Google Cloud, our LogDNA team was excited to connect with attendees in the DevOps space of the exhibition hall at the Moscone Center.

Through conversations, we learn that end users working with logs are hoping to extract greater value from their data. Stackdriver, Google's cloud computing systems management service although affordable does not yet extend beyond Google Cloud infrastructure and we were glad to introduce attendees to our Multi-Cloud logging solution.

There was are a lot of great announcements and strategic partnerships to bring fully managed open source to Google Cloud, Google Voice coming to the G Suite with help of their SADA partnership, and a cloud security command center to proactively identify and act on threats.

Leading Google's Downtown Next event on Wednesday night was no other than Grammy award winning artist, Gwen Stefani. This surprise guest made the crowd go bananas as she performed pieces from her previous albums and a handful from her time with No Doubt.

Container World, The Cloud Native Conference

In Santa Clara, Ryan Staatz, our Head of DevOps presented a keynote on LogDNA's experience scaling Elasticsearch with Kubernetes. We had a great time discussing all things Kubernetes, Cloud Native, DevOps
